What I’ve Been Wearing

Posted in: Uncategorized

I have been finding so much joy getting dressed lately for once. So refreshing. Here are some outfits I’ve been wearing in TX the past month! The older I get, the more western my style becomes. I look like a true Southern lady as of late.

OUTFIT #1: Starting with this one because it’s truly all my staples in one. I found this sweater on Commense, bought in 2 colors & have been wearing nonstop.

LINKS: boots, jeans, top, sweater

OUTFIT #2: I have fallen in love with a warmer shade of brown. I saw this Coachtopia bag and immediately ordered. I fell victim to an IG ad. This belt is my most worn belt by far and only $45- I just ordered it in 3 more colors. These are my all time favorite cowboy boots – of course, they are Tecovas. I’ve fallen in love with Sezane as well & this sweater is a recent fav.

OUTFIT #3: At this point, the outfits are starting to blend together. I feel like I’ve really found more of my personal style in the last 6 months specifically. Always a pair of Tecovas boots (the Josies are my fav), Abercrombie jeans, my favorite go to belt buckle, a top from Sezane & the tote bag I bought to match my favorite boots.

OUTFIT #4: I’m so happy to report that I’ve found the *best* denim skirt. It’s from Abercrombie, shocker. It’s comfortable, flattering & the perfect length. I just went to link it & saw it’s no longer sold on Abercrombie. Horrible. So I’m linking my other fav denim skirt by them- also a great choice. Again, I’m wearing my Commense sweater I am in love with. As always, a pair of cowboy boots & a Skims top. These boots are actually Lucchese, but I’m going to link the Tecovas Abbys because they’re less expensive & better IMO. I only even own these because Tecovas had not released the Abbys yet.

OUTFIT #5: We’re getting close to dress & boots season, thank god. Linking this Free People dress I just got – it’s so flattering and comfortable. Wore it with the most classic pair of boots you can own, the Annie’s from Tecovas in Sequoia.

OUTFIT #6: The perfect gardening outfit. This is what I wore on transplant day – as seen in this YouTube video. This vest is one of my best purchases ever- I got it at H&M 3 years ago & wear it every season. I didn’t bother to change out of pajamas, so linking those here. Then of course, a pair of new balances.

OUTFIT #7: This outfit needed to be included because it contains 4 items all of which I wear multiple times a week. I just got this jacket from Free People 3 days ago, and I’ve worn it every day since. I live in these Skims long sleeve tops. I have these Abercrombie pants in 5 colors now. These are easily the most comfortable sneakers I’ve ever worn, the New Balance 9060’s. They’re sold out always but I’ve had luck at American Eagle of all places.

OUTFIT #8: My Grandma actually made me this jacket 2 years ago for Christmas- it’s so perfect. I’m including the fit still because it deserves to be seen. Wearing my nicest pair of cowboy boots here, my staple Sezane belt & another Skims long sleeve.
